E chiudiamo la settimana con un ‘insalata di astice e pompelmo rosa, di quelle che ti tengono in bilico tra le ore calde di fine estate e i progetti per il.. Natale!
Ebbene sì, qui c’ è già capitato di pensare al Natale, di fare progetti, di sperimentare ricette… ed il tutto senza sentirsi minimamente anacronistici!!! : ))))
Dopo due ricette con la zucca, un dolce da urlo di gioia e gli gnocchi con burro e formaggio, quest’ insalata potrebbe rischiare di impallidire al confronto!
Invece è buona, insolita, facile da fare (sì, l’ astice va cotto ancora vivo in acqua bollente, si, può fare impressione, sì, se ce l’ ho fatta io….) e tanto colorata!!
Calcolate bene il tempo di cottura degli astici per evitare che la polpa risulti gommosa.
Io ho optato per i pompelmi rosa che hanno un sapore più dolce e meno aspro, ma se vi piacciono quelli gialli potete anche fare un mix.

- astice 2 da 1 kg ciascuno
- avocado 1
- pompelmo rosa 1
- cipolla rossa 1\2
- limone
- tabasco verde
- sale
- olio
- Cuocere gli astici ancora vivi in acqua bollente per 20 minuti.
- Estrarre la polpa dagli astici e tagliarla a pezzi.
- Affettare la cipolla sottilmente.
- Dividere l' avocado a metà, estrarne la polpa e tagliarla a fette.
- Pelare a vivo il pompelmo e tagliarlo a piccoli spicchi.
- Riunire tutti gli ingredienti in un' insalatiera e condire con olio, sale, qualche goccia di tabasco verde e succo di limone.

I colori sono bellissimi e non ho dubbi sul sapore…ma io non ce la posso fare ad uccidere il povero astice…è una morte atroce…. che poi alla fine è buonissimo (mi sa che io dovrei cibarmi di soli vegetali per non avere rimorsi di coscienza)!
